Installing WordPress
Most web host companies offer a one click install of WordPress directly from the control panel of the host. If you have a domain and is setting up your own wordpress installation take a look on your control panel when you have logged into your hosting account. If there is no wordpress install function, you should take all the ftp details (username, hostname and password) so that you can set up the account to transfer the files into your domain. Not planning a full reinvention of a process here so there is a video tutorial on installing wordpress. Should some of the terms here not seem familiar why not just use your favourite search engine and clarify for yourself some of the process?
You need the script right? Head over to wordpress site, or click here, and download the latest version to your desktop. While you are on the WordPress site, they have written a comprehensive guide on how to install wordpress. You can click here to read it.
You will need to transfer the downloaded file (wordpress) from your desktop to your hosting account and on to your domain. Set up a FTP account on your favourite FTP software. If you do not have FTP software, use a reputable website and look for free FTP software. I always look on download.com, or click here. Set up the ftp account and either create a new folder within the public_html folder, or ensure that the public_html is empty and upload the file to your domain. If you upload the zipped file, you will have to unzip it online.
Once completed, and going to the specific url of your domain, or the specific subfolder, will give you all the options you need to follow to complete the setup process.
