WordPress has many users. The statistics that is available makes it as many as 40 million users. This script has been set up to allow any user to ”integrate” specific functions into the framework of WordPress. These ”integrations” are known as plugins.

WordPress is not the only script that allows for users to integrate additional functions. Many CMS systems, like JOOMLA, incorporates this as well. The plugins available for WordPress users are usually distributed under a GPL licence. In short, this means any user can modify and edit the code of the plugin to create a site specific function.

We have developed our own directory of plugins, with a special focus on the plugins that we use frequently.

WordPress Directory

Directories are all across the internet. From generic business listings to very specific lists of websites for niche markets make an essential part of everyday browsing habits. We have used the Premium Press theme called DirectoryPress to set up our own web directory. We have created a section on our site that deals with the setup process of this premium theme.

In addition, this plugin directory we have created acts as a showcase for the ability to edit and modify the directory script for WordPress.

WordPress Plugins

Where do you start to list all the thousands of free plugins available to all WordPress users? Not that simple. As a small web development company we do not have the resources to populate this directory and list hundreds of plugins at the same time. We started small, and will continue to add new plugins in a very dedicated and focused way.

We are always looking for fresh ideas on expanding our lists, so if you come across a category we have not addressed yet, please contact us and suggest the category.

We are also looking for users to become contributors to be able to add their own favourite plugins to any of the existing categories, or add new categories.
